The Wörlitz Park starts the new season with a two-day festival under the motto “Südseeträume - Georg Forster in Wörlitz“. From May onwards, Forster (1754-1794), a researcher and globetrotter, will be exhibiting 250-year-old objects from his South Sea collection in an exhibition in the palace. Friedrich Franz von Anhalt-Dessau (1740-1817) had the Garden Kingdom established more than 200 years ago. Today it belongs to the Unesco World Cultural Heritage.
