After a two-year construction period, the museum opens with a ceremony in the 100th anniversary year of the Bauhaus. The exhibition is entitled “Versuchsst舩te Bauhaus. The Collection“. Around 1000 exhibits will be on show, representing the special and worldwide influence of the legendary school of architecture, art and design. The new building for 28.5 million euros was built according to a design by Spanish architects. The Dessau Bauhaus collection is the second largest in the world.
