Czech President Milos Zeman decorated the last living Czech fighter pilot serving in the British RAF (Royal Air Force) during World War Two Major General Emil Bocek (centre) with the Order of the White Lion, 1st Class, military division (for outstanding contributions to state defence and security) on the occasion of the national holiday at Prague Castle, Prague, Czech Republic, on Monday, October 28, 2019. President Milos Zeman promoted him to the rank of brigadier in May 2014 and major general in May 2017. He received high Czechoslovak and British military order for heroism in battle.
